Well, Vio (as in Vio&Juni) and her husband came yesterday to pay Tigris a visit.
He was sitting under the bed but let Vio who is one of his many girlfriends pet him.
She brought Temptations but they couldn't temptate him Siegmar had bought fresh chicken and he ate two tiny pieces.
But right after Vio was gone, the boy came out under the bed and tried to jump on the table. He couldn't do it. But in the middle of the night Siegmar found him up in the cat tree!!!!!!! On the highest level, right under the ceiling. No idea how he managed.
But he's back to under the bed this morning.
It's all a mix of feelings. We don't give up hope he may eat again. He drinks and made a nice lake into the litterbox.

It's also with mixed feelings I read this. Tigris doesn't seem very fresh, but the fact that he managed to jump all the way up in the cat tree shows he still has some strengh. It's been a stressful time for him going back and forth to the vet and being poked etc., so maybe he just needs some quiet time. Still, it's good that Siegmar is there with him all the time.

Was the chicken you gave him boiled? Have you tried giving him raw meat? Or raw white fish? Fister can't stay away from that, so perhaps it's worth a try.

I so hope Tigris will get better - I send him lots of kisses.

    (((hugs)))

I'm glad that he's at least trying to jump up on things and that he made it to the highest level of his cat tree. Now please eat Tigris so you'll have the strength to do so much more. He remains in my thoughts and prayers. Please take care. (((HUGS)))

Barbara, I'm sorry to hear that Tigris isn't eating as much as he should and that he's feeling ill. I understand how worried you are. I'll be thinking of him (and you) and hoping that he feels better soon.

    Take care,

    How is everything today?

Barbara, just wondering how the boys are doing today. Is Tigris eating? I imagine you are frustrated and sad. Here's hoping Tigris regains his appetite soon! And how is Filou doing these days?

Get well wishes are being sent from the girls here in Vermont to your boys. All of them!

The biopsy report arrived. Our dear dear Tigris has a fast growing cancer that is in his intestines and already in his liver.
    He didn't start to eat.
    The decision is made.
Please keep us in your thoughts.
