    Moesha has it -

Years before I ever heard of Lake Placid or the Olympics, before I knew the name of a single Russian hockey player, I was a kid in Massachusetts who wanted to be the next Bobby Orr.

    Jim Craig

I hope she will do the next puzzle.

I got this quote from a book written about the 1980 USA hockey team that won the gold medal in the Lake Placid Olympics. Jim Craig was the goalie on that team.

As far I can tell, that quote is not on line - anywhere. That was my twist.

I'm taking a break from puzzles for awhile. Have fun

Yes, I did mean her. I just now re-read that PM and saw I had credited the wrong person. I have profusely apologized to Moesha, and begged her forgiveness.

Hopefully she will do the next one.

Think I know what happened. I read your post, Maggie, where you said you had the quote, but needed the name. Then I got Moesha's PM, and she wasn't sure, even then, that she had the correct name. I put the two together, and goofed.

I do need to take a break
