Wow! Love the Elizabethan look. It is sooooo this year. I think it is best around your neck. I find anything that calls attention to the hips (like a tutu) well....at our age it is just NOT our best feature!
At the neck it frames your gorgeous face and flatters your feathery white whiskers!

Oh, I was so hoping for an endorsement from the mistress of fashion herself, Miss Edwina! You are right about the tutu...it looked like one of those Boynton cartoons with the hippo in the ballerina outfit! I made mom throw that one away---she's not been totally forgiven for the "sumo" episode!

My first thought was "oh no Ritzy's mom is a budding Martha Stewart! Now who would have thought that such a glamorous collar could have such humble beginnings! Ritzy you are just a doll and your new accessory just enhances your glamourous self!
