Well, as it goes, Shiloh and I loved the watermelon jello. Killian did not. HOWEVER, he really did enjoy that chicken strip from KFC with that pill inside it!!! Hahahahahaha, fooled him, for the moment, but it cost me.....

Poor you, and poor Killian! I hope you can keep finding new things to put his pills in so he'll trust you again. Isn't that just the worst feeling?

I don't think he is ever going to trust me in the food department again! Everything I give him, he drops on the floor and takes little bites out of it, trying to find the pill. Today, he was in the family room at the bottom of the stairs watching me feed Shiloh some salami (he likes that a lot, but remember he figured out my trick) I flung him a piece with the pill tucked in it and without thinking, he snatched it up and ate it as Shiloh came rushing down to steal it from him. Hahahahahahaha! I did it again!!!

Ohhh, I'm so nervous. Killian is at the vet for his teeth. His liver panel must have been acceptable to go ahead because they didn't call me to pick him up. I am so worried about him and the anesthetic!

Shiloh is just sitting at the front window, looking out and waiting. I even ate a cookie without her running over to ask for some. She looks so lost without Killi!

Whew, just got a call from the vet. He made it and is recovering. He had a draining tooth abcess and they pulled some more teeth. Didn't ask how many teeth he lost this time, but I think someone mentioned dentures? LOL! Just kidding. You wouldn't believe how having a diseased liver affects everything! sigh

Can't wait to see him at 4:00!! Shiloh, too!
