It's funny - that is just when that Incan calendar stops - there's nothing about it that says "the world will end here" I bet they just figured they'd make a new one then. That one covered a LONG time, but not forever, how could it? After all, we don't panic when a calendar is on its last page, we get a new one!

According to the interpretation of Nostrodamus quatrains, 2012 is not
the end of the planet per se, but the tipping point that marks the beginnig
of the earth as we know it today. A combination of natures reaction to
pollution, wars in the middle east, economic callapse in the west & riots
of a world wide food shortages all combine to bring this about.
