You Know It's Cold In CA When You See This....

I cold in Jersey when you can't get out of bed. Sunday morning I woke and could not move. At first I though I was paralyzed. Then I found the reason.
I had Bart and Princess (total about 39 lb.) lined up on one side Mit's and Peak lined up between my wife and I (about 36 lb) and Lucky across my feet. They had me well pinned I was held down by close to 85 lb. of cat and no one wanted to move.
Great way to wake up as soon as they noticed I was awake all broke into full purr. This matched the purrs come from the other side of the bed where Lenny, Roz and Chessie were.

What a couple of cute cuddle buddies.
It's been very cold and snowy here, my cats love to curl up in their cat beds.
They have also become a couple of very clingy lap kitties since it has gotten so cold.

They look very warm and snuggly. It's been cold in Los Angeles (OK, by our standards) too. My mom's cat, Pookie, won't go out in the backyard - he has a cat door - preferring to snooze in a chair, look out the windows or poke around in the house. His coat is so heavy you can't see his skin!

The E's are complaining about the cold as well. I have reminded them "from whence they come" to no avail. They won't cuddle with each other but the duvet and laps are VERY popular! Not to mention the fireplace!
