You know, that pumpkin chai latte sounds divine, can I have one of those?

I have two and 3/4 leaf bags full and out in front of my house now - but most of the leaves have yet to fall! You know you live in New England when the only way you can tell you just finished raking the yard is that it is slightly less leaf-covered than your neighbor's yard!

I once had a neighbor stop her car when I was leaf-vac'ing the lawn in front of the house, and say "Gee, you're so hard up for vacuuming that you need to vac the lawn? You can vac' in MY house..."

I replied, "It's either get them up and bagged when they're out here, or wait until they are tracked into the house, and ground into the carpet to vacuum them. It's better out here, they're easier to get when they're whole!"

    She conceded the point!

It's nice to be living someplace with a fall season. Northern Nevada has two seasons: Summer and frozen tundra

May I have a pimptini please?
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
