Thanks Jenn! There's nothing new, good or bad, at this point as far as I know. As for the questions, I wish I knew...

Looks like GILL and Milo may be taking a roadtrip tomorrow! All the details aren't in place even now, 6 PM. Guess I'll do Milo's shopping in the AM; I hesitated, not knowing how it would shake out.

Poor GILL has been on the road all day. Traffic was heavy, I hear, but he has passed off Milo/Sherbet (who may get yet another name change) to the next driver.

    He's Home!!!!!

He really is a doll face boy. I figured they'd be late since it had been monsooning, but they pulled up right about 5. I had diapers, groceries, and Ar's blankets in the truck, so I was SHOCKED he had a ginormous crate and 2 bags of stuff LOL. We managed to make it work, and he got to visit with the herd through the crate. Sass and Domino wanted to help him play with his toys, and the others just checked him out. I might've heard Jojo, the terrible tortie, hiss, but NOBODY else did! Sass the sweet tortie wanted to love on him!!

He's not happy with his own room, but I've promised him he won't live there and that he'll come out and visit tomorrow. A bath is on the agenda, then I'll see if he wants to come to bed & snuggle, like Ar likes to do.

    Any chance of pics?

Maybe you might combine "Milo" and "Sherbert" and call him Shilo!

GREAT that he is home! GILL, you are a saint!

John Gill has his own special place in heaven. God Bless you for all you do for these fur babies.

It seems that Milo, Creamsikle, Koi is in a great home with someone that will care and love him. This guy was a perfect gentalman the whole trip with us. Not a sound, just sat in his carrior and enjoyed the ride.
With a face like that you could not help but love him.

At last, he's been given the break he has needed for some time. It will be interesting to hear how he adapts to his new home, and what Critters' vet has to say about him.

Well...he's been twice, Mon and Tues. He has mites, fleas, UTI, crystals, and his foot's infected. He had to be cathed, and he REALLY showed himself. We came home with weeks of antibiotics, weeks of pred, and assorted other pills, potions, and a sack of Ringers. Luckily I got the Clavamox into him before he hid. He was 11+ pounds and needs to lose a little weight; it's better for his back & foot to not have to tow so much.

We were early, so we went to PetSmart. He LOVED it there, especially watching the little birds and the fish; Ari's friend Erika made the fish "dance" for him. The chins, gerbils, etc had the right idea--sleep the day away!! When we left it was unexpectedly pouring, and he didn't appreciate getting wet!

Tues. we saw a different vet, and she took him off everything but Clavamox after expressing him; he pee was still nasty & bloody. She felt like he was helping her pee him, so she said to leave him alone, except for the Clavamox, until Thurs to see if he'd pee on his own. Very, very happily, we got pee, and a fistful of tapeworms, yesterday. Never a dull moment with him!!

    So...now he's been wormed too.

Oh, and he does NOT, obviously, leak pee all the time. Frankly, that was a surprise.

I bet he got scared or stressed, and peed outside his box in his new home. OR he had a really bad infection and the new people didn't bother with a vet.

Well, the best happy ending has happened - he's with YOU, and had many PTrs helping him. He's better off away from those - er- people.

I hope the original HS knows about this health update...and that those people are on an adopter's CAUTION list, if there is such a thing.

    He is SOOO cute!
