If there is no improvement and she continues the wailing, I may have to help her to the Bridge. She's had too long and healthy a life for her to suffer now just because I want her to be w/me for a little while longer. W/Puddy it was different; she lived 4 1/2 years less time than Pidge and she had one challenge after another, so I felt I owed her. W/Pidge, I feel as though I owe her, too, but in a different way. I owe her peace.
Hopefully there will be some improvement, but if there isn't and you do decide to let her go, just keep telling yourself what you have told all of us......that she was fortunate to live a very long and healthy life. You don't need to go thru the pain and torment that you did trying to save dear little Puddy, and you'll be able to remember Pidge best thru all those good years, not her last weeks of decline. Of course, we're still praying that you can have at least a little more time together before you have to say so long for a while - it's never really good-bye.

I do know that, Ellie, thank you. I just wish I could get my heart to agree.

    A few more pix

Yes, I've relaxed the rules a little. After the pee fest that took place a few years ago between Boo and Specs, my bedroom has been off limits. However, since putting them on Clomicalm, there have been no more incidents and when Puddy got sick, I had to keep her isolated upstairs and one thing led to another. I'm becoming a softie.

Awww....those sweet pictures of Pidge and her Boo. What a stunning colour she is - tortie, I suppose, but all blended in to a brown-rust!

I know you are her Meowmie, but being with Boo does her a world of good.

So...does BOO get to sleep on your bed now?

If it'll make Pidgelet happy, you betcha! I'm not getting any sleep anyhow. I always wanted a dark, handsome stranger in my bed but this isn't exactly what I had in mind.
    Blessings,
    Mary

See what happens when I relax the rules? Two more brat cats join the group. The Fur Posse are pushing their luck. Yodie and Specs are on the bed now. Specs is the one w/the devil eyes, very appropriate.

My favorite kind of bed covers!! Warm and furry! I know it's a comfort to Pidge, too.

In the guest room, apparently. It's right across the hall. It's a mewtiny. Actually, I think they know that something is wrong, first Puddy gone and now Pidgelet sick. I think they're circling the wagons.

    Mary
