Pet you wish you could have...

Is there a pet you wish you could have but know it'll never happen. Explain why this pet would never work for you.

I would love to have lots of horses, goats and even a cow or two. I don't see myself having enough land for them.

A lovely kitty cat - I am horrifically allergic to them, and my sister is still highly allergic to them after 10+ years of shots to try to eliminate the allergy.

Well... hopefully it will happen.... but not while I live with my parents....

I would love a dog but my mum probs wouldnt be able to cope, my favs are german shepherds, cocker spaniels and golden retrievers.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a cat but we live by a main road and my parent dont believe in inside only cats

Even tho I'm a "little dog person", I always wanted an Old English Sheepdog. I just love their goofy, lumbering, clumsy manner. I have the room (land wise), but wouldn't be able to keep one in the house, and all my poochies have always been house dogs.

Anything farm animal. Welsh pony, a zebu, a cow, a donkey, a zedonk, a llama, chickens. But I'll never have enough money to buy a farm.

    An iguana!
I believe I will have one someday. I will save my mum's sanity and wait until I move out first, though.

I always wanted a horse but I won't have enough money to be able to board the horse somewhere. :/

I also always wish I could have a snake. I love snakes and lizards. But my mom would never let me get one.

I wish I could have a horse and a dog. I can see it happening in the future. Especially because some of the boarding barns here are about half the cost of where I used to live.

You don't have to live on a farm to have chickens! I don't live on a farm and have had chickens and ducks!

MORE CATS! Not enough room though.

Slightly OT, though this thread reminded me of it...MANY years ago, when my sister and I were pre-teen or in our early teen years, dad said one morning that he had a dream that my sister wanted a Siamese Duck!

(no, Dad really didn't drink a lot at all! And there is no such thing...except as a restaurant dish!)

When I was little, I wanted a fox. When asked for a second choice, I said I wanted a shark.

I wish I could have a Maltese, or a Yorkie.... I've wanted a small dog for quite some time now! I'd also love a cat. But I just don't know how my girls would take to that... and I probably don't really want to find out.
