But Palin also didn't grow up rolling in dough but she couldnt' POSSIBLY know about the plight of the middle class because she makes good money now... and she also has every right to be successful. That was the point of my post so I figured if you were responding to it that you meant that he knows about the lower middle class because he has been there and Sarah Palin hasn't.

No, lol. Sorry, I should have just taken out what I wasn't referring to (I will edit my post to reflect such! ). Just cause I didn't make a comment about one doesn't mean I was implying something about them. Palin must be a hard worker to live in Alaska! I've had relatives live there and know it's not easy!

Not so much a label, lol, I just felt like I was being pinned to one side of the argument. All I was trying to do was make a casual observation! *hand shake*

There are advantages, drawbacks, and all sorts of things to both, I am sure. I know everyone says this, but, I hope that people can put aside their differences and focus on the issues at hand. If they are concerned about petty things and mudslinging, that is less attention devoted to more important issues.

You must have Chicago mixed up with Arizona. The team that lead for a while but faded in the stretch!

Two women were on a plane and began a conversation.

They spoke of all the places that they had been and the subject of California came up.

The first woman said that she was from San Francisco, she then asked where in CA the 2nd woman had visited.

"San Jose", she answered, mispronouncing Jose. The first woman said, "Oh, you mean SAN HO-SAY! In California we pronounce the letter "J" like an "H"!

The second woman thought about it for a second and thanked her for correcting her pronounciation.

The first woman followed up by asking her during what time of the year she had been in San "HOSAY". The second woman hesitated and said, "In HUNE AND HULY!"

Ive made anywhere from $18,000-$48,000 per year over the last 16 years(starting from when I turned 18). Im 34 now, hopefully when I am 44 I have the income the Palin's enjoy, then I can say I understand the middle class too.

Im sure Obama's income far and away excedes Palins, and is probably on par with McCains. I know Obama claims a connection with the middle class, but when has he actually been middle class?

    Source.

CHARGE 15 - “I was an underprivileged youth.”

EVIDENCE – Senator Obama attended prep schools and later on went to Harvard Law. His Grandparents were wealthy bankers and his Step-father was an Oil Executive. His mother was also a P.H.D.. SOURCE 1, SOURCE 2, SOURCE 3

COUNTER CLAIM - He went to school on a scholarship and had to use food stamps to survive.

REBUTTAL - From the ages of 2 – 6, Senator Obama was raised by his wealthy, grandparents. From the ages of 6 – 10, Senator Obama was raised by his mother and his step-father who was an Oil Executive in Indonesia; from the age of 10 until his early adulthood, Senator Obama was living again with his wealthy grandparents, one of which was the Vice President of the Bank of Hawaii. Senator Obama has attended prep schools like Occidental College, paid for by HIS FAMILY. He then went on to Harvard, the State Senate of Illinois, and the U.S. Senate.

Obama's maternal grandfather was never in the banking business. His maternal grandmother did, eventually, become the Vice-President of a bank, but his grandfather was a furniture salesman - both in Kansas and Hawaii.

Why do we even care whose parents and grandparents made the most, or least, money? Our country is involved in two ground wars and thisclose to a recession - and we sit here arguing about junk.

We shouldn't care... but it is apparently an issue that the candidates make so much money and claim to understand lower and middle class people because you CAN'T do both obviously

I personally don't care how much money they have made in their lifetime, how many houses they have, what brand of clothes they wear... or whatever other material things they have. and it certainly shouldn't be a deciding factor for who you will vote for (not you personally... just a general "you")

If you are upper class, then you can't understand the plight of the middle class. And if you are middle class, you can't understand the struggle of the lower class. Therefore, the only ones entitled to lead are from the lower class.
At least you should have spent some time in the lower class to be considered.

    Idiocracy comes true!

And now for my ad hominem attack:

    Obama and Palin are rich.

    All rich people are bad.

    Obama and Palin are bad.

We should all have the same amount of money.
Then we wouldn't have to tax people with more money. I have a right to criticize how much a person donates to charity. I should have everything everyone else has because I want it.

People in the upper class should 'help' the middle class.
They cannot afford their cell phones, cable TV and extravagant gifts for their children such as those motorized toy cars.

    I like money.
