Funny how Charile Gibson can honestly put his name to that interview,

Try for a transcript of the WHOLE interview and see how much ABC left out.

If that is balanced I'll chew my foot off. It may read more balanced from some people's perspectives, but not from mine.

Slate is about as balanced as Keith Olbermann.

I adore Keith Olbermann! Looks, brains, humor...the whole package!

I am curious, LH, do you consider Charles Krauthammer objective? Or say that sexual harasser...O'Reilly...is he balanced and objective?

Or are they only not balanced when you don't agree with them?

Is that what's called a "Loaded Question"?

Krauthammer is a commentator and admittedly so. Not sure if O'Reilly calls himself a journalist or a commentator, nor do I care to because I don't watch him.

But Olbermann tries to say he is a journalist, which he clearly is not. If he would just come out and say he is a liberal commentator, that would be nice.

    Oreilly, Krauthammer, Limbaugh, Olberman, Buckley....

None of them are "balanced", they are commentators and entertainment, not journalists, regardless of what they may call themselves.

    DUDE!

Don't do that, it's only politics!

I saw an editorial cartoon that, in part was Palin talking about the VP salary, She said that it was 221,000 dollars a year. If she was elected she'd do it for 174,000.

It would be funny if he weren't running to be our next President.

McCain doesn't know the difference between Zapatero & Zapata. (Well, it
sounds Mexican, I guess he's a Mexican official.) He's supposed to be strong
on foreign affairs, right?:I don't think so.

    Shoemaker or bandit?

    Oh, lol!

Emiliano Zapata was a 'revolutionary' who died in the 1910's Right about the time John McCain graduated the academy.

EZ rode around with Pancho Villa- another counter culture idiot/bandit-PV thought he was Robin Hood and EZ thought he was a general in his revolutionary army.

The Zapatistas always show up when there is anarchy to be sown about.
THe PV crowd are a bunch of thugs, The poorer uneducated latinos also hold Che Guevara in high esteem, which is why capitalists make money on they dead arses by selling t-shirts to stupid people.

    ---------
I don't know how JM invoked EZ and in what context, but is should be good.

    A primer.
