    We're Home!

Once again it was a beautiful day. How do we always get so lucky?!

Hubby stayed home with Bon and myself, Simba and the girls went alone.

When I arrived Phred was there with one of the locals and her cute little one

Not long after that Diana, Carl, Christi and the kids were there with all the dogs in tow (except Jack, he just couldn't have handled the heat).
That Dominick and Jasmine are just WAY too cute!

Those of you that were at the last picnic might remember that Simba had a good friend he just wouldn't leave alone. Well this time someone felt the same way about him, but he didn't return the feelings. He got SO tired of the golden bugging him. I know it's a little mean, but it really made me laugh.
The looked like best friends at first

But then Simba showed his Dr. Jekyll side...lol

I might have a video, I'll have to see.

    More to come...

I almost forgot - for those that were there. Remember Mr. Lawn Chair? He passed us as we were leaving town. Douglas recognized his truck. His dog was not with him. I thought he drove like he sat at the dog park - as though he was the only one who mattered.

There were a couple other little ones there, and of course I had to get a picture of them. Aren't they cute?!

I absolutely love this picture, too bad I didn't get Sadie's tongue when she kissed Amy!

Phred was there not only with Smoke and Cinder, but Heidi was there also. She's so sweet.

I thought this picture of Dakota was pretty good. She's an awesome dog!

BRD Keegan found a nice mud hole to cool off in and got FILTHY!

Around 4 Roxey looked like she'd had enough of the heat

So we called it a day and headed home.

I'm not such a great story teller like Phred, but I tried
We had a great day and missed all of those who weren't able to come this time (and missed those of you who were there last time! Just wasn't the same without you ladies!)

There's not many more pictures in the album but here's what I got...enjoy!

Grace, great picture of the three amigos!

Oh yes, Mr. Lawn chair...what a jerk

You've all got to ask Staci to tell you about him. She does great at telling stories

It looks like you all had such a nice time!

Some day I'm going to make it to one of these gatherings. Findlay, OH isn't all that far away from me.

I'm having trouble getting my pictures off may camera so it may be tomorrow before I get any uploaded.

As Anna, said the weather was beautiful, the crowd was small but good company, good food and good sharing. We had a few problems with Mr. Lawn Chair guy and his dog but other than that things went pretty smoothly.

Sorry about those who couldn't make it (Joyce, I hope your headache is better) and we did miss all those who were there at Labor Day and not there this time. Hope you all and more can join us next time.

Great pictures!! I think i finally have mine uploaded, although i didn't get too many either. I didn't start taking them until after Mr. lawn chair left. After all, I shouldnt have things inthe park with me that could tempt his dog into taking them

    Here is the album

well I'm home from ROUND 2 at the Kuhn house!
Keegan and I got there around noon and stayed until just after 5. Then Keegan started to prance around and be a bit more obnoxious than normal. (altho nothing like Lawn Chair guy's dog!) Diana said - I think Keegan's had enough. lol
surprisingly - with 12 dogs in one house there were no scuffles.
    was a good day.
    pics later!

Pippi & Jasmine. Pippi was also terrorized by the Lawn Chair guy's dog Logan so Jasmine put her on a leash and took her up to the picnic area. I have never seen Pippi behave so well on a leash. She and Jasmine went round and round the picnic shelter over to the dog park area and back again. The unusual part being that Pippi did not fight to get INTO the dog park - she was just as happy with Jasmine as being in the park with LC guys dog. Jasmine even dropped the leash several times but Pippi just stayed with her - it was very so cute!

    Roxey

    Smokey, Heidi and Cinder

    Gretchen (Grace) and Doug

    Sampson oops, I mean Simba

    Dazzi enjoying the sun

Dominic in the time out cage - he seemed to enjoy playing in it

It's wonderful to see the pictures and be able to recognize the doggies and the people! And, oh, little Dominick is growing up! Jasmine is adorable as always.

I haven't gone back to look - but does anyone know how many years you have been holding the Findlay Dog Park event?
