What a sweet little face little Penny had. I'm so sorry that you had to part with your good friend. I wish you quick healing in this difficult time

I missed this. Pretty Penny, what a girl. She looks terribly sweet.

I'm so sorry to hear about Penny I know you will miss her. She sure was cute. But remember, now she's rid of all those gray hairs and aching bones. She's able to play like a puppy again and will be waiting for you and your family. I know it doesn't make it easier but we will all be together one day.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Micki i was hoping you would stop by, i often think of our 'Twins'. I hope all is going well.

I checked in often to see how Penny was back when she wasn't doing so well. I know how much you'll miss your half of the twins. I feel like something's missing now and I never even met her.

Hugs to you and your whole family Rhi.

There's an old song that goes

"Love is something when you give it away, give it away, give it away
Love is something when you give it away, you end up having more!

"It's just like a magic penny, hold it tight and you won't have any
Lend it, spend it and you'll have so many, they'll roll all over the floor, for

"Love is something when you give it away, give it away, give it away
Love is something when you give it away, you end up having more!"

I am sure the love you gave Penny will continue on, in your heart for years to come. Love remains, even after we've said good-bye.

I don't normally make it over to visit our dog buddies, but your subject line just stopped me. I had a Penny (miniature black schnauzer) of my own for 16 years -- from the time I was 8 until I was 24! -- and she is still fondly remembered and dearly missed after over 20 years without her.

Your Penny was a beautiful girl, and I hope that even in the midst of your sadness, you're feeling good that you did the right thing for letting her go gently and without suffering. It's SO hard to do, and it took selfless love and courage for you to make the decision when you did.

I hope your Penny runs into my Penny -- and my sweet little tabby Murphy, who'd love them both -- at RB. RIP darling Penny!

    Much love,
    Diana

Thankyou everyone. Not a day goes by that our little girl is not thought of or talked about with fondness. She is very much missed.
