Good to hear he is home - 7 teeth! Poor baby!

Did they give him a pain patch so you don't have to pill him, Jen?

Looking forward to Da Vinci's healing, and him eating more food!

Jen - if he had the sniffles - would that be a Da Vinci Cold?

(ducks to avoid things thrown at her)

Poor DaVinci! His mouth must be so sore and tender. I hope that each hour gets a little bit better for him and that he starts to make his way out of hiding and into your arms. Or at least to the dinner plate!

Jen, I'm sorry to hear that he had to have 7 teeth pulled. Hopefully he'll recover quickly and start feeling much better so he'll be able to eat well again and gain some weight back.

Boy, 7 teeth pulled is a lot but Puddy had 6 pulled and she was in renal failure, so if my 5 lbs. of pure terror Puddy Tat can come through unscathed, we're praying that DaVinci will, too.
    Blessings,
    Mary

    DaVinci is still quite upset.

I know he'll be fine, I guess I was just surprized at 7 teeth because he is so young. How can they be so bad already? hopefully it is not the stomatitis!

Bosun had a whole bunch of teeth pulled; once her gums healed she ate much better, started gaining weight, her coat was better, and she has gotten so playful. Hopefully DaVinci will do the same.

He is back to trusting me and his sweet self. I can't monitor ALL of his eating habits, as they have food out all the time in the foster's rooms, but my guess is that he'll start putting some of the weight back on soon.

That is great to hear that DiVinci is feeling better and back to his sweet self. I am sure missing 7 teeth was upsetting, but it will make her feel so much better in the long run! Just give lots of hugs, and she will forget it in no time!

DaVinci is doing well. I am not sure he gained any weight back, yet, but he looks good.

That's good news. Is he supposed to have an official "weigh-in" at some point?
