    Time for a Simba update!

Well I've been told by a certain few someones that I've been lacking in the picture and update departments so here ya go!
    ======================================

Simba, what can I say...he really is a dream (yeah except for at night when he's sleeping then watch out!) and has been such a good boy.

Do you remember me telling you about his "Death Breath"? Well that's what I called it because it smelled like someone or something died in his mouth. I'm not kidding, ask Robin how bad it was. Can you imagine me not wanting a kiss?!
Well I was looking at his teeth a little closer and noticed that his back tooth was broken. I knew it needed cleaned, but didn't know that is was rotten.
So I made an appointment yesterday for him to go to the vet. We got in right away and Simba was so good and let him open his mouth and check it out.

Well he took his thumb and literally popped the back rotten tooth out. Oh so gross. He said if I wanted I could leave him and he'd pull the bad teeth and clean the good ones for me right then and there. So I left him.
An hour later they called and said he was waking up and we could come and get him any time. He was a little champ!
I was worried about how much it was going to cost, but to my surprise with the teeth pulling, antibiotics, booster shots, rabies, anesthesia & office visit, it only came to $179. I was very happy, I expected it to be much more.

Now Simba has kissable breath! He can lick and pant and it doesn't kill us all.
There was no way I'd have been able to live with that breath in the summer...LOL!

If you don't believe me how bad his teeth were take a look at them (yes, for some reason they sent his rotten teeth home with me Did they know I'm a nut and would share a picture of them on the Internet...lol)
If you don't like gross stuff... be warned!

Aren't those just totally disgusting? The biggest grossest one was the one that was able to be just popped out ...yuck!

Any way now that I'm done with all that yucky stuff I do have some cute pictures of him to share!

    Here's the new do!

    Tired after his big day

Of course I couldn't leave the others out!
My first attempt of a group shot...not too bad

I LOVE this one of Huney

And of course my beautiful blue eyed girl Roxey

And the ever so handsome Bon!

Sorry to keep you all waiting so long for an update and new pictures...hope you can forgive me!

He really is a cutie. And I have to agree he really does look like a smaller version of that gorgeous Huney. So, does he get to have Frosty Paws until his mouth heals?

OMG how ADORABLE can you get?! He looks SO freakin' fluffy. can I please have him, or at least borrow the cutie? Of course Roxey, Bon, and Huney are adorable to! Can't leave them out. So now you have XL dog, Large dog, Medium dog, and Small dog. That is cute Congratulations Simba on your beautiful breathe! But those teeth are nasty.

I'm glad someone has been bugging you to post. Wonder who it could be? Could it be Robin? Awwww poor widdle Simba. I know he has to feel like a new dog with those nasty teeth out. You did have quite a bit done for $179. That was pretty amazing. His haircut is absolutely adorable and makes him look even more like Huney. Your posed shot puts me to shame. It's hard for me to get two to sit still and look at me at the same time. Someone is always turning their head at the last minute.

He looks absolutely precious with his new haircut, makes him look ten years younger! Those teeth are wild, they barely look like teeth! What a trooper, and what a great deal! Glad his yucky teeth are gone, that has to be a relief for him, as well as everyone else around!

Thank you for sharing photos of your family!

Pam, you are right I was one of the people bugging her about it. She kept sending me these cute pics of him and then went to the groomers and came out looking so cute and handsome and then he had to have that awful teeth work done and I just knew everyone would want an update. He is so freakin' cute. I can't wait to hold him and feel that fluffy fur and not have to smell that awful "death breath".

Its about time you share those pics and updated everyone, little girl!

Give all four pups a big hug from me!

Thanks for all the nice comments

Sorry I had to share the yucky pictures of his teeth, but it was just so hard to believe they were teeth!

Pam, I just had a treat and everyone was more than happy to look at me...lol!

Joyce, no frosty paws but he is getting soft food which he is LOVING

Wow, those teeth are so gross - and what a deal you got - I know to get Jack's teeth done it would probably cost a small fortune. But he would have so many to pull too.

Anyway, what a cutie with his new doo. He is just adorable. Great pictures of the others too. Dog park time is getting closer, closer!

I'm glad it all worked out for you and Simba. That makes me feel better about my situation. We need to get my pug, Murphy's teeth done really badly now. We put it off because he is old but I think it's at the point where it really needs to be done or it will start to affect his health. we've been scared to do it because not only is he older, but I know someone else who had their pug's teeth done and she didn't come out of it. As well as we got a previous boxer's teeth done and i've always had the feeling that we were taken for a ride a bit, not just with that, but with everything we've ever gone there for. That was just the last straw with that particular vet office. It left a bad taste about getting things like that done with my other dogs.
