I just got back from out of town today, and saw this thread. I am so sorry that all of this is happening to poor Kia. I am very happy to hear that her bloodwork came back normal. I will absolutely be praying for you and Kia. Please give Kia a big bear hug for me, I will keep my fingers crossed for cytology results.

good news so far.... praying you get more good news. Maybe the blood is just from the dry winter air? Sometimes my nose gets that way in winter.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

I'm so sorry Kia is having these issues. Poor girl This must be very scary, but I'm so glad you're remaning so positive! I'm sorry I didn't see this thread until just now, Kimmy and Andy. I will have Kia in my prayers that it's nothing serious and she gets back to her normal self soon.

Sorry I haven't replied before but I'm only just reading this now, and my heart was in my mouth until I got to some good news in post 45. So glad to hear the bloodwork came back normal.
Prayers, positive & healing thoughts on the way for your special Kia girl.

    Thanks everyone.

I noticed a lump on Kia's leg last night. I'm 99.9% sure it's just a fatty mass but I'll mention it to the vet when they contact me with the cytology results.

But geez...talk about kicking me when I'm down.

I'm wringing my hands. Thankfully the blood work came out OK. And praying that the cystology report does the same.
