    Question regarding some strange behavior

    The other night, after my parents went up to bed, I observed my male gray and white shorthair, Hobie, essentially having a conversation with one of his stuffed toys. He was looking at the toy and making meowish noises at it. Anybody have any idea what this could mean?

    Maybe it's prey behavior. I have heard cats make noises at birds, and whenever my cat catches a lizard he has a converstion.
