Horriable news. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Hope they catch the guy soon... Whatever happened to setteling a dispute the old fashioned way? Why do guns have to enter into it, now 2 lives and 2 families have changed forever.

How are you? How old are your cousins? Your poor aunt must be in shock, and yet the police will want to talk to her right now too...

I'm doing ok, really though I honestly can't believe he's gone. It doesn't seem real. I'm more worried about my aunt and cousins though, especially my aunt she's pretty much crashed and I've really seen her do nothing but sit under a blanket on the couch. It really breaks my heart. Then my poor baby cousins. They are only 9 and 11. So they are really young. They did all the questioning last night and 11 year old cousin was being questioned for nearly an hour because she saw the whole thing. Now she's going to have to go to court and testify as well. Jeez I really think this is all too much for her. We're having a dinner benefit on Saturday to help pay for the Funeral and whatnot, my poor aunt really doesn't have much to her name and doesn't want to cremate. So keep us in your thoughts on Saturday that all goes well.

    Prayers that all goes well...

And the 11-year-old - to see the whole thing...I hope there is some no-charge counselling available for her, as well as her sister and mom.

Whatever else happens - I hope that 19-year-old faces the family in court and listens to what they say. Good Lord...was he on drugs? Just...unbelievable...

    HUGS to you all.

I am so sorry to hear this! My condolences to you and your family.

I'm especially sorry to hear that your poor cousin saw everything. As Catty1 said, please look into some kind of therapy for her. Hopefully, though, her testimony will help catch the creep who did this terrible thing.
