What a stunning beauty! I had a calico when I was a kid. Ms. Blackheart is adorable. What a special kitty.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Thank you for finding that photo of my sweet Samantha, Kim!
I was looking for it yesterday but could not find it in my photobucket pictures.
Samantha wears her heart on her sleeve but it changes shape as she changes position.

Peggy is just stunning with a perfectly shaped heart in the middle of her chest.
I always thought she was a very pretty girl with beautiful markings.
Kirsten, give Pretty Peggy a big hug and kiss from me.
You always take beautiful photos of your kitty subjects.
    RIP sweet Samantha

Ah, sweet Samantha!! What a lovely heart you have there on your shoulder! Just beautiful!

LOL, Gary, I remember Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, but that is a long time ago!

Peggy's paw is doing much better, btw, but her vet has said that she was badly injured and really ill. I'm glad she came home after she was bitten, so we were able to help her and get her to the vet.

Unfortunately, she has started to go out again, how I hate that! Hope this girl has some guardian angels watching over her!

Sweet Peggy Blackheart, how is your pawsie? Try to stay inside until it's all better, okay?

Her paw is fine, thanks! I think it's all back to normal, and she doesn't seem to be in pain anymore.

But they let her go outside again - much to my dismay!
