Hey Redd, I can relate. **trying to type as fast as I can**

Richard, are you going to put on the Santa suit again??? Can I sit on your knee and talk about the first thing that....**slaps hand over mouth** Oops, this is a family restaurant. Sorry. Mario, come here. Let me take that garland off your head and get that tinsel off your butt....silly boy!

Weather here?? Today sunny and nippy. When I was driving in to work this morning the view of the mountains was spectactular....all snowy with the sun shining on them. We are supposed to get some light snow on the weekend.

One hot toddy to go please and make him dark.

Keep the hot chocolate flowing!!! I may need a transfusion of it before the weekend is over. We are to have lots and lots of rain and high winds tomorrow and Sunday. The upper part of the state is to have freezing rain and an ice storm. YIKES!!! Few things I hate more than an ice storm. Very very dangerous.

We are supposed to just get rain here but, in Kansas, the weather changes minute by minute.

Anyway, hot chocolate and cookies please. Oh, and I made some homemade potato soup today. I'll share.
(yes, Mario, it's supposed to be lumpy. Those are potato pieces in there! )

Guess what??? I woke up to snow this morning...how fitting since it's December 1st. We are supposed to get quite a bit more snow today and into tomorrow morning then later on Sunday it turns to rain. Looks like I'm staying home all weekend.

MOMO, that potato soup smells heavenly. Let me go get my bowl spoon. I think I'll sprinkle mine with some chopped green onion and cheddar cheese. MMMM!

Oh Hot Toddy, could please help me erect this gigantic tree? OK everyone, let's sort out these boxes of decorations. Mario, could you help me over here with the lights?? We need to plug in each string and make sure they work. I'll just have to dig around and find the replacement bulbs if we need them.

Just look at little orange kitten....he's running around draped in tinsel.

Hot chocolate (spiked with Baileys) and marshmallows for everyone. It's a tree decorating parteeee!

Whee! I brought more marshmallows in case we ran out for the hot chocolate. Oooh, decorations, let me help!

This Sunday after church we're having the tree decorating party - and it's always fun, as we cannot fit a 15-foot high tree in the house, but in the church, it's just perfect!

Slick, my toddy may not be so hot, but I can help set up the tree. Mario can tell me if it's straight enough. I'll have a hot chocolate with Bailey's.

Well obviously we need to hire Max to help decorate the bar after his great work on Slick's tree - very professional job! We want to have all the decorations up before the bar opens this Thursday.

Great breakfast Richard - hot choco, cookies and nog - yum.

What happened with your weather MOFF? Will you get to the bar this week?

Here I am. Our weather has been so weird. Cold and rainy all weekend. Today sunny and almost 60. Tomorrow back in the 40s. At least all we got from that winter storm was rain and more rain. Sure has my arthritis going nuts though.

Yes, Mario, you can put the angel on the top of the tree but let a tall person lift you up this time. No, climbing up the middle of the tree to the top. We don't want to redecorate it again!!!

lBaker, Pittsburgh had a little more than a trace. It's still snowing with 3" on the ground! Here's what my dad used to say when I would say"look at the snow come down!" He'd say "Did you ever see it go up?!"

Your Dad must have known you'd never been to Boston.

Yes, here I have seen snow go up, diagonally and sideways! Gotta love those tricky wind currents in a real N'oreaster!
