The babies were found by a volunteer, no mom to be seen. I have had them since Sunday (so 6 days). I suspect they are now about 4 weeks old. Hopefully they WILL try to eat soon.

    The tortie is PEPSI
    the orange female is SUNKIST
the orange and white male is SPRITE.

Sunkist is definitely the BIG ONE!! Sprite is smaller, but has a fatter belly than Pepsi is.

They're all so adorable and I'm glad that they're thriving in your care.

    AWWW! They are so cute!

They look just like Moxie and siblings did when we found them last year. Dumb me who had never been around kittens that young before thought they were 2-3 weeks old but you guys guessed 4-5 after seeing pictures of them. Now comparing to your soda kittens I'd say the 4 week guess was right on.

Have fun with your little guys Jen!

The two girls are doing fabulously! The little boy is doing OK, but he just isn't thriving like the other two. He is much smaller now (as the two little piggies sprout up around him). I sure hope it is not a sign that he won't make it.

Could your "Soda Pop Trio" possibly be any cuter, Jen? How great to see those little tummys filling out so nicely. And it's clear to see that after only a week of your love and care they're doing quite well. Prayers are being prayed for the little boy to make it. We all know his best chance is with you!

Another reason to worry about little Sprite.....While the other two have firmed up their poops to a nice consistancy, his is still horribly liquid.

Luckily I will be at the vet's tomorrow. He will be on my list of things to mention.

Poor Sprite...that must feel rough on the tiny guy, and really worrisome for you, Jen.

I hope it's a coccidia or something simple.

    Prayers for that little sweetheart!

Problem is, that he has already been dewormed (with Nemex, for roundworms and hookworms) AND had a full 7 days of Albon (for coccidia, et al).

My fear is far worse than that.

Poor little Sprite, I hope the vet can figure out whats bugging him. Bless you for taking in these little ones, I had trouble managing one and you seem to manage several at a time! I admire your work

Well, after his brief pick-me-up this afternoon, (as noted in my vet update thread) Sprite is back to looking sad. Wouldn't suckle tonight, needed to be forced, and makes this pitiful little grunting sound.

I will continue to do whatever I can. but I am back to NOT being hopeful.

Poor little Sprite! Hope he starts to suckle on his own and not have to be force fed too much longer. Calloway could spare him a pound or two... he's up to almost 16lbs!! He's a chub!
