Oh Pat... I was LOL at the last picture!
Have you EVER seen a more peeved off dog in all your life?!??

Oh Star honey... it will be okay sweetie pie!
I'm sure he's not ALL that bad.
I'd love to give you a big old hug right about now!

    Be a good girl!
I'm sure before you know it the little bugger will grow on you and you'll realize that having a little brother isn't all that bad!

BTW...Is it just me? Or do all Huskies sleep like this??

Ohhh Star, like Staci said you will always be number one! I'm so happy to hear that you are going to let Jack stay even though he can annoy you at times.

Pat, Jack is absolutely stunning. I've fallen in love yet again with another husky. Do Star and Jack come from the same breeder and background? I wish so badly that you guys were going to be at Findlay in a couple of weeks. I will really be missing you and thinking about you.

    Hey Star

Tobey here - I know exactly how you feel. I remember going through the same thing when that great lump Archie appeared but now.......................I wouldn't be without him for the world. Be patient - they do improve eventually

Oh Star, sweetie, I know you are going to be a wonderful sister. You were a great big sister to Sherman, and I know that Jack is nothing like Sherman, but you will still be the bestest big sis. He will learn to be a good boy by watching you, sweetie.

Star, just give Jack a little more time, o.k.? It can be fun being big sister.

All I can say is WOW! They are both so breathtakingly GORGEOUS! I still check on "my" Hampton ... he is doing great! I sure wish my back could have held up to him. My yard was really way too small for him too though. I noticed your very tall fence, definitely another necessity with Huskies!

    Thanks everyone!

We're pretty sure Jack will grow on Star, he's a very lovable & sweet boy. She doesn't seem nearly so depressed, and is eating again. He is delightful, loves to race around and play, follows me everywhere, and he's just a really good boy. He loves attention, has been great with people, dogs & kids we've met out walking, and he doesn't seem to notice Star's attitude. He just plops right down next to her. Maybe her grumpyness is just for our benefit, I think she kind of likes having him around.

Angie, Jack has a thing for sleeping upside down stretched along the wall. Sue (first mom) said all their huskies like to sleep upside down! Mine like sleeping with their heads hanging off the dog bed lower than their bodies, too.

Robin, Sherman and Jack are from the same breeder/kennel. We were so pleased to be able to get Jack, he feels like a "family" connection. I also got to see Sherman's mom, dad, & sis while I was there.
(Pics on our first Jack thread)

Kimlovescats: yup, gotta have a minimum 6' fence with these guys!

I took this a little bit ago, I like the lighting - he was looking out the front window:

I love that last shot, he looks so intent on something outside. Not that all the pictures weren't great. Couldn't help laughing at the look on Star's face with laid back ears...she did look angry...lol.

Poor Star. Jack will never be able to replace Sherman, but He'll be able to distract you from your pain. Have some fun with him and wag a little.

Oh my... Jack so looks so much like he could be Koli's real life brother.

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.

I think you have just hit the head on the nail . Tikeya loves to sleep on her back, just like Jack

    Great pics!
Star will get used to the idea of a new doggie around soon. She probably just misses Sherman.

Star, I'm looking again at the pictures of you and Jack your Hu-Mom posted. He is one adorable puppyhead! And you are fluffily, beautifully gorgeous as always.
