Awesome work!!!!! That $50,000.00 will be a big help I am sure! Wish we had that up here for a contest for PA shelters! You go from Animals in Distress that has hydrotherapy and pools for the dogs, and then there's our shelter, that doesn't even have running water...Wonder how AID got all their funding??

WOW! WOW! WOW!!!! I had forgot today was August 1st, thinking tomorrow was the first..FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!! That is $50,000! Can you just imagine how many animals that is going to help?? This is just so great that for once the homeless animals WIN! I am just so excited!!!
I know it was because of everyones help here that we pushed it ahead enough to win, so THANKS!! The animals in Baton Rouge thank you also.
Pay attention to the commercials on TV, they advertised this on TV awhile back and someone has to sign the orginization's up to qualify. It could come in you area the next time so watch those commercials close!

I cant believe that the Capital Area Animal Welfair Society Won $50,000 big ones! You must be sooo happy! That amout of money will be able to help soo many animals at your shelter for many years to come.
