I got a new dog!

Ohhhhhh Sue don't tempt me!!! I'm such a sucker, hehe.

Here is the boy that I am completely in love with. His name is Canuck and he's a Shar Pei/Husky mix. He's beautiful!! He's about 6 months old and the goofiest, most easy going, friendly, playful dog in the world. You could put him in any situation, and he will find the good in it. He always keeps himself amused and entertained. Its so funny to take him on a walk because he ALWAYS picks things up and has to carry around something or other in his mouth at all times. I plan to take some better pictures soon to capture his incredible beauty.

I have to agree Canuck is STUNNING what an unusual mix... but he is breathtaking..... you can see the faint husky markings in him! I just love him! Please post more pics if you take any!!

LOL you tricked me too! hehe. Cute CCSB dog! Y'all don't even want to KNOW how many stuffed animals I have........it's PATHETIC! I have a huge collection that consists many of stuffed canines, first being wolves, then huskies, then german shepards. I also have many other canine breeds such as a bernese mountain dog, rottie, goldens, dalmatians, westies, schnauzers, poodles, beagles.......ahh! I have a thing for white tigers too. Several of those. I have yet to find a stuffed red husky like Nebo or a big eared schnauzer. It's a very odd thing, it's just my "collection." Although now I have no room for them all, and they are kind of getting in the way.

ANYway, Canuck is ADORABLE!!!!!! What a cutie! Aw, I just love his face and markings! And those EARS! *ah!* I can see why you love him so much! Who is the other dog in that last pic? Very cute too! Does he have soft fur like huskies or the kind of prickly fur like shar-peis? Well, I've never actually met a purebred shar pei in person. But I did bath a golden/shar pei mix (cute, but the dog from hell to bath) and it had the weirdest feeling fur.

Of course a real dog is better , but I also love those stuffed ones !!! Great thread Aly !!!!

OK Aly you got me to! One nice thing about your new dog is there's no housebreaking to do and no chewing to worry about! I love the breed too Sue - the CCBSD! HA! Unfortunately that breed usually meets a swift end in this house! If someone made a movie of it, it would be rated "R" for Violence!

Canuck is precious. My sister-in-law has a sharpei/lab cross who she adopted from a shelter a few years ago who is just a lovebug. I can see the sharpei in Canuck as well as the husky.

That other dog in the pic is his brother, Corazon! I also love Corazon and he has the same goofy silly personality.

They have spent 3 months at the shelter and are growing up there The good thing is they are happy as clams.

AMY and puppies have been adopted!!!!!!!!!!! There is just one left.. a frizzly haired black female named Bootsie.. cute as PIE! They all got great homes except I am very worried about one of them I am trying not to worry though because what's done is done and I'll just pray she's in the right hands. The family who adopted Amy was SO SWEET. Two sweet daughters who made up a schedule of who walks and feeds the dog on what days Very darling. Nice parents too

You guys are going to DIE when I post a pic of our new puppy. Omg. I wrapped him in a baby blanket tonight and carried him around like a human baby. He is soooooooooooooooooooo cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute and huggable and he made me just melt!!!!
