Wow, there's always some scum-bag who will want to turn a huge profit on a charity item. Wouldn't it be nice if they donated the extra $200 they are charging to the charity?

You have to remember, on Ebay things are by supply and demand. If there are say 50 identical items and there are say 200 people that want them, they will have a bidding war to be the one that gets the item regardless of cost.

I once payed $175 for an expansion set to a board game on ebay. Granted it is a long since out of print game, and we DEARLY love playing it, but it's now considered a 'collectors item' so we have to bid high to get it. There are NO stores that carry it and it's long since dissapeared from garage sales/flea markets.

Whether it's a part to a board game or a tote bag, the number of bidders vs the supply will dictate how high the price goes. If we're all smart we'll buy some of those bags for $15 and get rich selling them on ebay while the trend lasts. ROFL

Quoted from above article link: ""Our main objection is the people who claim on their listing that it has already sold out and that the only way you can get it is by paying over the odds. Their buyers are being ripped off.

"People who say it is already sold out are at best being misleading and at worst telling downright lies."

Whether it's Ebay or a brick & morar store: Do your research and let the buyer beware!
