Son Kenneth and Jenny are there in Dover DE in their tent They already said they would be staying over in the event of rain delay. I'm leaving tomorrow late afternoon for business in Indianapolis (hope to meet up with Lizbud there). Guess the grand-boys will be in charge of the furry ones until "grown ups" get home They aren't little kids but I never know when they will be here. I'm sure they will when/if they find out Kenneth and Jenny won't be home tonight. Hope hope

No brown bags necessary now Phred. K&J were totally rained out and are on their way home from NO NASCAR Dover DE They said the rain was so hard and almost sideways with the wind. Wet tent, wet muddy ground (even with drop cloth), wet spirits ~ enuf is enuf they said. Will be back July something or another for a second try. ah well... such is life on the NASCAR circuit P.S. just checked weather in Indianapolis.. rain all week. Oh joy, oh bliss, OH BOTHER

I just hope they get the race in tomorrow, and the rain goes away here in Ohio by Wednesday! There are a few of us here with a ticket to see the boys play in the dirt, and I'd rather not have a repeat of last years mud-bowl!!!

The rain went away, and we had abeautiful sunny, day here in Ohio yesterday! And what a great race!!! You may see a few familiar faces in the pictures (and some NASCAR guys too!)

I just found out today I'm going to MIS next week!!! I got a message on my phone today, that was a picture of 2 tickets, a thank you from a department manager I do a lot of work for. They are on the Front Strech, Row 20!!! What a great surprise!!!

At first, Ralph wasn't sure if he should go...he has he dance show on Friday night and it is always a long, tiring week for him, and he sleeps most of them weekend. After thinking about it a few hours, I think he decided tonight he is going to go. If he doesn't, since it is father's day, I think my dad has next shot at the ticket. If those 2 both decide to turn it down, I'll make sure you are my next call!!

I looked online at the section to see where we are...not too far past the start finish line, headed toward Turn 1. We are in the upper section of the grandstand, so we should have a good view of most of the track! I am so excited...I have never seen a race at MIS, although I have done a ride along there!!

The Holiday Inn car and B Wimmer may have some competition next year.

The Hilton Hotel is considering sponsoring a car in the Busch Series...In order to bypass Paris' suspended license and to kepp her driving skills sharp, she is rumored to be the driver of the .08 car.

Hello from 5 slightly soggy, very tired race fans after the Pennsylvania 252.5

What I saw of it it was a good race. Junior race fan #1 (MJ, who is ALMOST 6), was so tuckered out with the rain delays and walking around to get rid of boredom that she fell asleep......in her seat...........with NASCAR stockers going by at 200 MPH.

Can we get ONE June race at Pocono with no rain delay? (For those who haven't been there, it's par for the course in June. Early showers followed by oppressive heat, but this time the showers never left)
