I have never seen this type interaction with birds, oh my, how SWEET!

What wonderful shots, such a variety of colors for the babies.

A mom cat can have kittens from multiple dads in the same litter. Is that the same for birds? Is that why they all look different colors?

Look at all the day old downy fluff! Woowee!

yes a chicken can have babies from different breeds, but these are all different because I collected eggs from all of my 13 hens, to place under her. Variety is the spice of life!

Oh, those chicks are just too cute!
Isn't it really neat how parrots are born basically naked and chickens are born all cute and fuzzy^^? In all honesty, I hadn't noticed that until now. lol.

Aw, they are so pretty and cute. i just love the color of the ones that are light yellowy and then they have a black stripe going out from the tip of their eyes. that is such a cool marking! It's so great to see that the chickens are doing well
