Absolutely no need to apologize. No need at all. You have my deepest sympathy. I know how difficult this is. I lost my brother and my sister the same year 3 months apart. Allow yourself the time to grieve. But as mentioned before, a candle at the wedding would be beneficial to all involved. Please take care. If I can be of any help at all please let me know.

Thank you all, I am talking with Andrea his wife as to what we are to do with him. He wanted cremation,
The rest of the family wants a headstone at least even if the ashes aren't buried.

Dr. G., my thoughts and prayers to you. I think a headstone gives family a place to go and remember their loved one. I have a friend who died in his early 30s from complications of undiagnosed diabetes, and although he was cremated, we had a forsythia bush planted in the park as a remembrance. It is a nice place to go and think happy memories, especially this time of year when it's blooming. If you need anything, please say the word.

Kym, as you know, I lost my sister last year. It was somewhat expected, so I can understand that the shock of something this sudden is like a cavern swallowing you up.

I believe that everyone in your family - from what I know of you and your wonderful spirit and heart - would know that they were loved by their family members.

That your brother knew this is a wonder, and I hope it brings you some peace.

I hope that the wedding has a beauty about it, as a positive thing in life.

    HUGS again to you.
