why do they have to test the bad food on other animals and kill them? That is so wrong!

Maybe PETA should get involved. People need to write your congress person (s) etc and let them know this is horrible and laws have to be made to keep companies from testing animals like they did for this recall.

As much as I hate to see animals suffer, right now they don't know what is causing the deaths. They need to find this out, so they can eliminate the problem and spare more animals in the future from suffering.
If there was some other way to test, and if dogs and cats were not put to sleep by the thousands each month for no other reason than a lack of homes and because of shelter overcrowding, I might feel differently, but at least these animals' death lead to the recall and may have spared the lives of countless other loved pets. No, animals shouldn't suffer needlessly, and should be spared pian whenever possible, but there is a lot of unknowns left in our understanding of the world, and so sometimes animals need to be tested to help future an current pets.
I have moved this to The Dog House, because it is, I agree, upsetting.
As sad and as tragic as the situation may be; I agree with Karen's comments.
Without knowing the cause and how to prevent it from happening again; many more animals could die in future outbreaks.
To train a dog you have to think like a dog!
Couldn't they do some culture tests or something. Look at the stuff under a microscope?

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.
I heard that this morning and it depressed me. Those poor animals have no say on how they are being treated....as test subjects. Yes, it's saving other animals lives. But I'm still depressed just thinking about it. Poor animals.
RIP sweet beings. Thank you for your sacrafice.![]()
I love Fenway, JoJo, Olivia and Nonnie!
