We just went to a cook out at a friends house and ate chicken wings, clams, hotdogs and hamburgers. Yumm LOL.

I'm cooking right now. We're having marinated chicken tenderloins, garlic potatoes, peas & corn, and garlic cheese biscuits.

I had a lame excuse for a salad - a bowl of bagged lettuce and a chopped up tomato, drizzled with a little bit of Fat Free Italian dressing. That's it.. that's all I've had, all day, except for the sugar free popsicle I'm eating right now.

I went to the store and bought a bag of sliced baby portabella mushrooms and soaked them in milk (forgot I didn't have eggs) and battered them in flour, salt, white pepper, and parmesan cheese and fried them up - they were yummy.
And I had never had fried green tomatoes - well I had a small tomato growing on one of my plants and I picked it and sliced it and breaded it and fried it up and it was excellant! Don't think I'll be doing it to all my tomatoes tho - I can't wait until they turn RED.

John had invited his kids and their famiilies over for brunch this morning. We had bacon, scrambled eggs w/chives, pancakes with mixed berries and pancakes with walnuts! Fresh blueberies, tomatoes. It was yummy. i wasn't hungry the rest of the day but splurged on a shared, super large hot buttered popcorn at the movies (a real treat).

    Decided to bump this up..

I got in a mood to cook so tonight I made:

Chicken Tenders in Frank's Hot Sauce
    Homemade potato wedges
    Homemade onion wedges

Man, it was fattening, but sooooo good!

Thanks for reminding me how hungry I am, Kay. You meal sounds great.

I think I'll just end up making a quesidilla with a side of chips and hot salsa with a corona to rinse it down.
