    The top ten.....

Of course, I'd probably never own a pure-bred dog unless found in the shelter, rescue, streets, etc. I usually fall for the mutts anyways.

5/10 are black and tan (7 if you count the Belgians).... hmmm? We are meant to be.

Let me say I was absolutely shocked when I saw the results. I have taken these types of tests before and they almost always tell me chihuahua or cavy or cocker or something like that. Never has an American Eskimo shown up before. I think somone has slowly brainwashed me.

Brittanys and Tollers ties with 99%

and 6 breeds tied for second with 98%:
    ACD
    Belgian Terv.
    BC
    ESS
    Feild Spanial
    irish setter.

I dont agree with all of them, I said "quick learner" is VERY important. I am a good trainer, I am just extremly impatient, I dont even consider Leck to be a quick learner based on my standards, the instant "I understand" I get from training BCs is what I consider a quick learner, taking a day or 2 to understand is NOT what I consider a quick study lol

I've tried other ones and gotten foxhound type dogs. this one I got Redbone Coonhound, malamute, boxer, dalmation, pharoh hound, viszla, american foxhound (knew it... lol) , chesepeke bay retriver. None of which I can picture owning.

Funny it gave me mal... I asked for short hair.

Ive taken this test many times, I like it a lot. its hard for me though because I find its not detailed enough and I end up putting not important on many of them because I cant choose multiple answers.

this time around I got 121 results: aussie 99%, sibe 99%, am staff 98% (dont think they have american pit bull terrier included). I got 99% with 22 breeds, and 100% with 2- Belgian Tervuren & German Shorthaired Pointer, 2 breeds I would NEVER own, just because they do not fit my personality AT ALL.

As far as these breed tests go, this is one of the better ones Ive found online (Ive taken dozens), its a nice START, but in my opinion when it comes right down to it, meeting a number of individuals of each breed youre interested in, interacting with them, seeing them in action during their day to day, how they interact with different people, dogs, situations, play, etc, thats the way to choose a breed.

oh and my FAVORITE breed test is the Purina Dog Breed Selector, but it appears its not running anymore
