I just found something out about the cam.

The camera will stream things at different times for different people, because of how long it takes for the picture to get to certain places. So at one time, someone could be seeing a giraffe, while another is just seeing the water hole. It sucks! lol

I see them too! It's dark out and they are causing a blur. They run on and off screen. At first nothing was going on, but they ran in from the left on the far end of the pond and ran around it and back off screen on the left.

Not sure what they are Angie. My guess would be young Hyenas from the looks of them.

I wish I could make the camera move to follow them!

I keep forgeting about this thread. Nothing now. Maybe if I shake the bag of kibble? That usually brings animals around here running.

I just have to share this.............I have been telling my brother about the Africam.........but every time he stands by the computer there is nothing going on - so he really doesn't believe me that I can see all of the wildlife. Today he was standing behind me watching again............and

We hear this scrunching noise - and it gets closer and closer

    SCRUNCH SCRUNCH

and there it was - the most magnificent elephant you would ever want to see came on screen and drank from the watering hole and then wandered off.

I think he believes me now!

Today I have seen gazelle, warthogs, a cheetah, hyenas, water buffalo, a giraffe and now an elephant.

I'm watching it too!!! How does the camera know to follow them around...zoom in, zoom out, etc??

I just discovered full screen mode.....really cool!!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
