    Please Pray for Kishii *Updated*

Tomorrow morning Kishii is going to the vet for her first time ever. She is going to get spayed and I am already getting worried. I just don't want anything to go wrong in the surgery. They are rare but sometimes I have heard of bad stories where something goes wrong in those type of surgerys on cats and bun buns.

I feel so bad. Tonight I have to take Kishii's food and Water away at 8pm and then she cannot have anything at all until after she is back home from teh surgery sometime. Poor Kishii, she loves to eat so so much that she is going to drive me nuts when I take her food and water away. I was wondering, what does it do when you take the food and water away for 12 hours. Does it help the surgery somehow? What is it's purpose?

Anyways, please pray for Kishii's vet appointment to go well tomorrow

my understanding is that if they have food in their system they will vomit, and get food or liquid in their lungs. but not sure about that.

I will keep Kishi in my prayers!

Kishii will certainly be in my thoughts. =] Though I'm sure everything will go just fine.
I know how it is to have a pet go into surgery, so I know where you're coming from.
((((hugs!)))) you'll have your baby back soon enough!

I know that Kishii will be fine, but I was definitely nervous when CC got fixed. They told me that I could call in a few hours just to see how he is doing, and I definitely did -- it was great to hear them say that he was just fine. So I'm sure that you can call and check in as well. She'll be in my thoughts, though.

Prayers headed out to Kishii. I'm sure she will be fine. My puppy just got spayed the end of December so I know you do worry.

    Kishii

    Hi Kishii,
My name is Benny, Benny bunny. My mommy took me to the Dr. in Nov. I went to sleep and when I woke up I hurt just a tiny bit. Mommy gave me some yummy pills to chew. I felt better. I am not so wild any more and I love to cuddle with my mommy. I even have a girlfriend now. Her name is Snowy and I love her very much. Don't worry Kishii you will be fine. Make sure your mommy gives you extra treats and kisses. Just wiggle your nose and look cute, like you did in the photo. Let me know how everything goes. We bunnies have to stick together. Grapes, peaches, apples and some fresh carrots made me feel so much better.

I'm sure everything will be fine. But GIVE HER FOOD AND WATER alot of vets don't realise rabbits can't throw up. Pretty silly that your vet dosen't know that if you ask me..but I'm sure she will still be fine.

    Kishii

    Hello,
How is Kishii doing? How did her surgery go? Alicia you are correct about the water and food issue. My vet told me the same thing.

Thank you so much everyone! Your great wishes and prayers mean so much to me and Kishii. I got up this morning at 7:00 and let Kishii run around on my bed happily until we left at 8:00. At 8:30 I was there to drop Kishii off. The Vet Assistant was very nice.

I kind of felt bad for her because there was a man in there really harrassing her about giving out someone else's phone number. I hope she is okay, when I left that man said he was going to be coming back for the number later, creeepy. Anyways I almost cried saying goodbye to Kishii since I won't see her until 5:30 after work. She may have gone through her surgery already and I don't know. I hope she is doing good and sleeping peacefully.

Marigold your Benny is the cutest little bunny, thanks for showing a picture of him to me. He's gorgeous and looks so cuddly

Unfortunately I never heard your messages until this morning so Kishii hasn't had any food or water since 8:00 last night. I feel so bad. I hope her little tummy isn't growling and that they let me feed her when I get home tonight.

I also hope that Kishii isn't too mad at me for taking her there. Thanks so much everyone, I will definately keep you all updated. And that's what I was thinking too. Rabbits can't throw up, so why would it really matter? Anyways, Kishii will get all her food back when I get her home tonight. I can't wait to see her!

I'll will keep hoping for her till i'm updated otherwise! take care and don't get worked up too much! the animals know when your hurting in someway and that may cause them to over-react. take care kishii and kalei! skyhla gives "paws"

Wow, I feel bad for that lady. Let's hope that everything is alright.

And, I don't know if this is right, but I heard that they also ask you not to give food or water so that there is none in their stomach when they go in. I mean, they do go in around that area. But I'm not sure.

Either way, I know Kishii will be fine. She'll be happy to come back here and rest for the night.
