    Buffy shot protecting her owner

I always amazes me what these animals do for us, and ask so little in return.

"Reading" a situation- acting and following through is one of the shepherds strongest instinct. It never ceased to amaze me what even the untrained dogs could do-...
This was excellent Vela- thank you!

Buffy is such a brave dog!! I sure hope that she is okay. Even if she looses her leg, she will still be an awsome dog! Way to go buffy!! I sure hope they catch the robber!!!!!

I get the chills (in a good way) every time I hear about something wonderful a GSD has done. They truly are an amazing breed and I'm honored to be able to share my life with one.
That was a wonderful story, thanks for sharing.
I do hope Buffy is ok and will be able to keep her leg.

Pawsitive thoughts for Buffy, that she will keep her leg. What a brave girl.

What a brave dog. I'm not surprised she's a GSD. Awesome dogs.

I hope they can save her leg & the robber be found quickly. I hope she
got a piece of that guy.
