Oh Amy. I'm so sorry. I know Reggie was glad you were there with your mom. It is very hard but one day you'll be glad you you made that decision. It's so hard to say goodbye. We will see them again, you know? But, I know those are empty words right now. Nothing will help but a lot of time. If it makes you feel better, I still haven't taken Duke's pics off my camera. I read this last night but couldn't find the words to reply. I feel as if I've lost one of my own since I've spent so much time with him. The most prominent memory that I can think of is how he loved to rub against your leg like a cat.

Such a little dog full of so much personaility. He lived a long, long, happy life and now he is reuinited with his friend Smokey. I am sure they are sharing many stories.

Please give your mom a hug from me and tell her I'm thinking about her. I am so sorry.

I'm so sorry. I know how you feel. I had to make the same decision this year. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do. I keep reliving it in my mind. It's terrible. My baby will be gone a year in March. She was 14 1/2. I know it had to be done, but it was a hard act of love. Maybe your baby met with my baby at RB. I miss her terribly and I know you do too. Try and hold on to the memories. I still cry every day. I know I'll see them all again, but I miss them so much now.

Oh Amy I'm so sorry to hear this. It's inevitable that we lose our pets before we are ready for them to go. He had a wonderful life with you all and was a very lucky dog to have such a family.
