Wellness Dog Food makes a Fish and Sweet Potato. So my guess would be that raw sweet potatoes would be okay.

Kia loves most fresh fruits and veggies. I haven't really had a chance to see what Chipper would or would not like. He did refuse a carrot though!

http://www.barfworld.com/ Here is another good site. It explains the process. I have been feeding raw ( BARF ) for 19 years. I am only on a commercial kibble diet for a month because of health reasons, and making it easier to prepare for care takers of my dogs.
I can set up a diet if you wish. However I need to do this off line as it has to do with the age of the dogs, the weight, the type of breed etc. There are rules of thumb here- adults 2 percent body weight broken over two meals and puppies meaning not full grown at 5 percent then down to 3 percent to 2 percent body weight. It sounds complicated at first, but I am pretty sure I could set you up with a raw diet that is not hard to do.

Again I'm sure I could have eventually found something worthwhile, as far as information, but you all just made it even easier. I will definately look into it, and thank you both for offering to help me get started if I do decide to go BARF!
