I'm so sorry. (((((hugs))))) Play at the RB honey. I lost my chocolate lab, Izzy, yesterday to heart failure. She was only a year old too. Maybe your Bandit will show my Izzy around.

You and your Beloved Bandit had a great friendship Lori Jordan~

And, I can see from the pictures you posted, that he was a very beautiful dog too.

I'm so sorry that you lost him~ yet Im certain , he left a part of himself behind for you to hold onto forever.

I know the pain all too well. Bandit looked like a sweetie. No matter how long we have them, they always touch our hearts deeply. Duke will be sure and take good care of him.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Thank you all,Today is a bad day for me as you all know,Right this second a year ago,i was at my mothers with the dogs,When we came home i let Lacy and Maggy run around,And Bandit has to be tied he was a car chaser and i had him tripped and up the ditch he went and within seconds he was hit,it happend so fast,He was still alive barely but alive i rushed him to the vet,He had 4 broken legs and was bleeding internally the vet said there was nothing to be done so i cuddled him told him how much i loved him,Dr Grey came in and said "It is time he is suffereing" I lost it i stood at his back end i could not stand to look at his face it hurt me so much.

All the pain my Bandit was in he lifted his head and looked back at me almost like saying " I need you Mom".So i walked up put my arms around him and he slowly passed away into my arms,I stayed at the vet for an hour just holding him,We got him home and burried him in our backyard,I will love this lil guy until the day i die he touched so many people he was always there for you whenever you needed him,Bandit and my daughter had a bond like no other,He was her shadow.

I really wish i could take back time and change things, but i know his job on earth is now over and he is up there doing what he did best was playing.
So here is to Bandit,I love you and miss ya Booga Bum,Mommy will never forget you,Make sure your taking care of Gramp for me he always thought the world of you,Until we meet again my dear.
