    Ahh.. the joy of PeTA.

I think it's atrocious if the animal is being raised for the sole reason of its fur.

The ONLY valid reason for wearing fur, in my book, is if you use it for its intended purpose. There are plenty of people who live in Russia and the upper northern parts of Canada where synthetic fur can not keep them warm enough. In that case, I think fur is alright and necessary. In virtually every other case, no, I hate fur.

I voted that it depends. Sheep and rabbit fur that are shaved, yeah I wear it. Anything that's killed is a definate no. I'm a native person so to speak and I don't hunt for my food or clothing, unless you count stalking the mall. If you are argueing for food you could argue that cow leather is just a byproduct of food.

Oh yep, this another one of my very strong views (sorry). I've been known to knock all fur items on the floor in shops (and even once when I was feeling VERY annoyed, I nearly spat on them too).

I don't see why people feel the need for real fur now when there is so much 'good quality' faux fur around. I have a couple of coats which have faux fur on the cuffs and hood. The only problem is, in Europe, some things are listed under faux fur when they actually are not. I always check garments very carefully before purchase.

I try to limit my leather-wearing as much as possible. I would wear a leather jacket no more than I would wear hot coffee, but for school shoes and riding equipment I have little choice. Wool is a different matter, as it benefits the sheep to be shorn in summertime, although I currently have no clothes made of wool other than a few scarves and bobble hats at the moment.

No, I don't wear fur. I think animals need their fur more than I do.

I would NEVER even consider even wearing fur, it looks WAY better and prettier on the animal.

me?? in the furs? nooo, can't imagine myself dressing up all fluffy...even fake furs bother me. once many years ago, I wore a long jacket with fake furr-collar, and feel sick everytime I look at myself (the picture I still have).

only time I'd be drowned in furs are when I hold, hugging a couple of cats at same time or wearing my (corinna's homemade) scarf/hat made out all of my little ark's furs.
rest and sleep softly sweet locke..

Never would I wear fur. I wont even touch it...I feel like uking when I do because I get the image of the being killed for their fur.

I dont think you can exactly call yourself a TRUE animal lover and wear them..JMHO
To me thats like calling yourself a dog lover yet support BYB 100%

I get people coming up to me wearing fur asking to pet Tedd, I just say why dont you pet your coat its the same thing it was alive once before too. And walk away.

I have no choice with leather because my ridding equipment and tack.

Ick no way. I think it's disgusting to wear real fur when faux fur is just as warm (If not more warm) And just as nice to look at.

I wear a lot of dog hair. My dogs love to shed on me.
Other than that, no. I think wearing fur is wrong and cruel.
