Logan, it is hurting me for you to read about Lilly.

I hope the pain meds work for her and she can be more comfortable.

I am just so sorry you have to deal with this.

I have had some work issues to deal with, with an economic development conference starting, tonight, in Spartanburg, SC, while worrying about Lilly, but I have just talked with Patsy, from my vet's office, and Helen is going to take Lilly in tomorrow morning, at 8, and they know exactly what to do and check.
Bless Helen's heart, school starts at 8:30 am, but if she is late, she is just going to be late, with an excuse from her mother. Thank goodness I have a daughter who can drive and who is as compassionate about our animals as I am. Patsy said that she has talked with Dr. Robinson, today, upon receiving the fax from the emergency vet, and he knows what he needs to do for her, to help her feel better. They did say that it is not unusual to run a fever and have the diarrhea problem when there is inflammation, which makes me feel better. Strange thing is that the report never mentioned the diarrhea, even after I stayed, longer, to discuss that with the ER vet.

I have that stupid conference that starts tonight, and I have to leave, shortly, for that, and have to be back in the morning before 8:30, for the morning session. It is about a 45 minute drive, at a minimum, for me.

What I do know is that Lilly will get some answers, tomorrow, thank goodness!

    Logan

Logan, you know I'm such an emotional person so when I know any of our pets are sick, it cuts me to the core. And since I've known you for many many years on a more personal level, I wish I could hop on a plane and help you and hug you. The not knowing is the worse part, especially when it's so sudden.

I also thought of ticks but remembered you said your girls were vaccinated. I also remember that Cody physically acted similarly when he had ACL. Plus he also had HD. I can't recall the eating or bathroom problems but his reaction to the pain could have been different.

God Bless your Helen..but I don't have to tell you how much I love her. I feel better that Lilly will be in the loving, compassionate, excellent care of Dr R. I'm sure he'll be more thorough with blood work etc. You know you and Lilly and the whole Bagley clan will be in my prayers and thoughts.

Logan, I'm so sorry I'm just now reading this. I hope you're able to update soon...and, that it's with good news about Lilly. Helen sounds wonderful, I want to meet your entire family! Next time I'm back home, I'm going to try my hardest to make that happen.
