This past weekend, Andy and I were at NARBC in Chicago. We had so much fun and loved looking at all the different reptiles on display and for sale. Lots of neat accessories as well.
I have been researching corn snakes the past few weeks with the intent on getting one if we found just the right snake. Andy wasn't sure at first but after talking to some breeders he felt more confident.
I had my heart set on an Okeetee morph, but after some discussion with Kathy Love of Cornutopia (whom we spoke often with), it turned out her line tended to be more nervous, flighty, and/or nippy than her other morphs.
So I let Andy pick out a snake with the colors he liked and he prompty picked out a Creamsicle morph. We held her and checked her out and she looked wonderful. She also had a great temperament and is so very curious about everything. We were sold.
I told Andy we needed to think of a name for her and he promptly blurted out Lucy. It wouldn't be my first pick. I like the name Inara (a cookie if you know the reference ), but Andy is dead set on Lucy, so I call her Lucy Inara or Lucy for short.
And without much further ado... Lucy Inara:
I just happened to be looking at Kathy's other Creamsicles last night and found Lucy's photo!
