    What terrible news. I am so sorry for Rufus, his adopted Meowmie, and you, Jen. I am hoping and praying that he willbe as painfree as possible. Poor little guy.

    I'm saddened to read that Rutherford/Rufus is so ill. It must have been heartbreaking to receive the email about your young foster kitty. May it be of some comfort to know that since he and his buddy, Marvin, were adopted together maybe Marvin will help ease his anguish until the Bridge is crossed, and may the knowledge that you were instrumental in giving Rufus every chance in life remain in your heart.

    Oh no! Rutherford was far, far too young to lose his life. How very sad for you and for his guardian, she must be devastated. Marvin is going to be really lost without him, I'm sure.

    Jen - did he go peacefully at home? I hope he felt as loved and comfortable as he could.
