It sounds like he's doing a little better. I hope he continues to improve and can get home soon. Hospitals are no fun. It's much easier to get well once you're in your own bed and surroundings.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
I miss you
I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.
Fur as dark as the night.
Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Oh no!I am so sorry for you and your husbands family!
Like Laura said, though, he beat the odds once and maybe he can do it again!![]()
OK, First of all I want to thank all of you that thought of Jerry and sent well wishes and prayers.
We went to to visit him yesterday evening. They even let us in the room.
He look ok but not great. He was awake and off the oxygen machine. He even sat up in bed to visit with us.
He spoke coherently and seemed overall in good spirits.
After several tests, the doctors have ruled out a heart attack and a pulmonary but they have NO IDEA what happened to cause the pain, difficulty breathing and "tightening" in his chest.
He is still in the hospital today.
They did change his heart medications and want to monitor him, do more tests.
We spent the night with MIL to keep her company. Beenie and Frankie slept with her. She said they hogged the bed but were good cuddlers in her time of need.![]()

So glad to hear that he's doing ok! So he didn't have a heart attack...hmm, wonder what it was then? Hopefully the doctors can figure it all out, but in the meantime I guess he's another 'medical mystery.' Keep us updated on his condition!
I hope he improves and can go home asap.
It sounds positive. I hope he continues to recover, maybe after his medicine is adjusted, he'll feel better. It may never happen again.
They still haven't figured out what caused my husband's heart "episode" last spring either, he's currently undergoing tests.
Thank-You for that up-date!!!!
I am relieved too!!!!! I'll check back again for more news concerning your Father-in-law.
Give Beenie and Frankie a hug, they are a big help, no doubt!!!!
Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers..............

No heart attack- that's good news. With all heart conditions it is important that he is moitored- this is one of the things docs can control very well.
I'm glad to hear that he didn't have a heart attack.Lots of prayers and positive thoughts are being sent his way for a quickk recovery. Please take care.
