    umm ok its defintaly her hips, I stood in front of her and asked her to do an obedience type sit, she couldend do it and it was clearly not a lazy thing because her hips started wobbling as she tried to lower herself then her hips just collapsed sideways.

    my mom told me to use ice and short walks like the vet suggested, and wait till she gets home

    Poor Misty . Do you think maybe she just happened to move the wrong way and popped a joint out of place or something? Tango's done that before and was acting the same way Misty is and that's all it happened to be.

    Whatever it is, I hope you're able to get it healed soon!

    You might consider NOT taking the dog out for walks, and to keep it calm until you have it examined. For example you could be dealing with the equivalent of a pinched nerve or other mild spinal injury.

    Can you not take her into the vet yourself? I know if my parents were away and I had a problem with one of my two, the vet would say come in anyway.

    Poor Misty.. I hope it's nothing serious!
