Thanks Phred for the picture. That's the Buddy I remember meeting. He was beautiful and loved Liz with every ounce of his being and she returned his love. Liz, I think of you often and wonder how you're doing. Please know that you and Buddy are still in my thoughts.

Liz, I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner, but having done myself what you had to do, I got sucked in with all the memories (my dog went to RB also in August) and I coulnd't stop crying when I read how you spend your last moments with Buddy. Better luck today and here I am, please accept my deepest symphaties for the loss of Buddy. I hope he has found my dog already and they are happy now. Buddy was a great dog, we will all miss him, but for sure, you will miss him the most.

Liz, please try not to grieve too much. Just as you loved Buddy and wanted only the best for him, he wants the best for you. He wouldn't want you to be down and depressed for very long. Your losing him has reminded many of us just how sad one can get during this time.
