What lipstick? I don't see any lipstick! That's what you seem to by saying thro' those innocent eyes, Smudge. You're an adorable bundle of mischief!
And I agree with the person who said that rescue dogs are best. Just look at the wonderful Smudge for proof!

We are so proud of you! Congrats on becoming Dog of the Day! You can now look forward to lording your title over Ashbe, Shady and Sam, and of course let's not forget Niles, Thomas, Weezer and Foster (but watch out, I've heard Weezer bites!).

If you don't mind, however, we'll just keep this family story between all of us and not tell Baby Anna about it quite yet, okay? At least not while she's still getting all her toofers. Shhhhhh.....
