Congradulatons! He and Gracie must be buddies! Huskies always seem to be buddies with huskies... LOL. I love his name, it's so beautiful! And it fits him because his color always reminds me of water. I'm looking forward to those pictures!

these are some pics i've taken throughout the day. He's a little cleaner, but a few more bathes will help. right now he's laying at my foot. he is a little escape artist. he's gotten out of his crate twice in the last hour. he gets out and lays down on my bed and falls asleep. he just wants to be with people.
i gave him a good lookin over. he's got flea bites on the tips of his ears and his teeth are TERRIBLE. his K9s are worn down to stubbs and they are really yellow. he may be an older dog. i'll ask the vet when he goes for a check up next week. he's also got bare spots on his elbows. probably from laying on the concrete at the shelter or where ever he lived before.
ok...now for the pics!
runnin about the new pad.
couple o husky butts anyone?
stompin on a toad.
runnin around the yard.
my handsome boy.
this is COME of the fur i've been brushing out of him. there is fur in the yard, in the kitchen and in the bedroom.
Beanie excited about his new brother.
that's all for now. i'm a picture takin fool right now. there will be more soon.

Yay!I was waiting for pictures of the new guy! It looks like he was the perfect addition to your family, already well accepted and comfortable.
It might not be the case with Ocean, but when Skylar had balding elbows, it was from mange. I'm sure you already knew that, I just wanted to give you a heads up just incase!
I just can't wait to see more and more of the new guy, and Gracie and Beanie, of course!
What a great lookin boy Lute. Looks like he is fitting right in!!!!

thanks for the heads up. fortinatly i don't think it's mange. i've seen many dogs with the exact same elbows. if dogs lay on concrete for a long time the hair on their elbows starts to wear off. sometimes it grows back. sometimes it doesn't. depends on how long the fur has been gone and how think the skin is.Originally Posted by Chilli
Ocean is such a push over. he won't even look me in the eye. it's a shame because he's got the most beautiful eyes! he will look at the camera though!
