i'M GETTING SOOOO EXCITED! LIKE RICHARD, MY VACATION WAS APPROVED A WEEK AGO!! YIPPEE!!! I'M SO LOOKING FORWARD TO SPENDING TIME WITH AND HUGGING YOU ALL!!

To those that cannot attend this year,
I'm so sorry you have to miss the S CA BBQ this year. I hope you have a safe, happy summer and can't wait to see you next year!! (I hope you feel better, Slick!!)

Hi all, it looks like planning is in full force for the BBQ! I regret to say we may not be able to make it. I'm still looking into finding a place to stay. Original plans fell through, and my uncle's family is going through some trauma, so they really don't want visitors, which I can understand.

I'll keep looking for cheap alternatives, but if we can't make it, I hope you all have fun!

I have been reading this thread, with envy, of course. I wish, wish, wish we could come (or that just I could come). The timing doesn't work, once again. Scott and I are going to New York City at the end of this month for 5 days and we just came off of a week's vacation with our family a couple of weeks ago. Darn it. One day, I will be there!!!! Keep a spot for me, Gini.

It would be wonderful to meet you - and share the craziness of the day!

A spot is always here for you - never fear.

It is getting down to the wire - but lists are made - shopping is being done - and it will soon be time for the airport runs. I have that route down to a "T".

The only thing that I am worried about is that it is supposed to be very HOT
here next week. I guess it IS July!
