I am afraid that my dogs would do me no good so I voted for my cell phone. They would most likely just wag their tails at the person, although I think if anyone tried to attack me Ripley would bark at them. Yep, that's right - my tiny little Ripley who only weighs 14 lbs. sometimes thinks he can take on the world.

I always went for walks at night, as it was cooler on Max (he was all black). He was a great protector, even a couple days after we got him. He wasn't agressive at all, he just knew when people should stay away.

My sister was only 8 (my sister was slow & an easy target) & Max was 6 months old. She took him for a walk, at the campground we were camping at. 2 men wanted to pet him cause he looked like a pure lab at that age (hes was a lab, rottie, pitty mix), they couldn't get within 20 feet of her, Max went wild & wanted to attack them.

My sister ran back with Max crying, dad ran up to her thinking Max bit her cause he heard Max going wild. She was ok, she told dad what happened & dad went to meet the 2 men to say sorry. The men thought he was a wonderful dog & they assumed he was an adult, just small & looked like a puppy. Nope he was just a baby & they were very impressed. Thats when we knew my sister & I would always be safe with him near by.

Max even attempted to take on a large man that was trying to break into our house & he also did the same when 2 large men tried the same thing.

He was also a very loving dog. a 2yr old grabbed his penis & attempted to rip it off!! We were only an arms reach away & thought it was gonna be the end, but nope Max didn't have a car in the world. He wanted her to let go, but he knew she ment no harm & then he gave up & just layed there & fell asleep(we stopped her, but she thought it was funny & would do it again).

    So ya I voted Dog!

I love walking at night. It's so quiet and peaceful.

    I'd definitely trust the dogs.

I walk at night all the time, and I trust only my dogs, what good is my cell phone gonna do me? if someone tried to kidnap me or mug me, by the time I got my cell out and dailed it would be do late, if I am scared my hands are going to be shaking and I am going to be fumbling around for my phone. on the otherhand my dogs will warn me before anyone has the chance to get near, and who the heck is stupid enugh to mug a person with a dog at their side? lol there are a few morons and they will just get a nice bite in the a$$. I trust my dogs over anything else when it comes to night time protection.

agreed, cells are useless, when you have no idea someone is there.

I remember when I heard about hte guy who broke into my friends house when no one was home. The 200p rottie didn't care, until the robber kicked the little dog hard.. then there was lots of blood shed hahaha no one knows how he got out alive. The rottie tore him to shreds & it took days to clean up all the blood.. some people are just soooo stupid . He knew the Rottie & knew how protective he was of the little dog

i would definatly trust walking with Gracie more than my cellphone. for some reason people keep thinking Gracie is a wolf. Beanie on the other hand, my cellphone would be safer.
    Owned by two little pastries!

REST IN PEACE GRACIE. NOT A DAY GOES BY THAT I DON'T MISS YOU.
