    Thanks everyone!

    We went to the pet store a few minutes ago and bought all of the puppy essentials. We had a tag engraved so I guess his name is officially Buck!

    The breeder is thinking 8 weeks but she's going to talk to the vet on their next trip. She has heard about the new study to leave puppies with their mom until 10-12 weeks and she just wants to do what's right for them.

    Wow Sarah... this breeder sounds amazing!! Now if only other breeders would care for their puppies as much as she does... giving you a key to her house to come and go as you please, holding the puppies longer, wow you're lucky!

    She is an awesome person, definetly. She said "the only condition - you have to bring him to the annual birthday party every year!" No problem there!

    And ... lol ... we bought Easter and St. Patricks day props to take pictures of the puppies with! We also bought some hunting props and we're going to take the typical Lab puppy pictures - with the old boot and the hay.
